Please note that the lecture will now be held in the David S. Howes Theatre in the Robert S. K. Welch Hall (#3 on map) at Brock University.

The most convenient location for parking is Lot D - Visitors Parking located directly south of the David S. Howes Theatre. (Please note there is a fee for parking)

Remember that tickets are free but we are asking Masons who are able to do so, to make a tax-deductible donation to the Masonic Foundation of Ontario Grand Master's Project, Number 2937 in lieu of the price of a ticket. The Foundation's website is www.masonicfoundation.on.ca/donate.html

  • Correspondence from the Masonic Service Association of North America of January 20, 2010 re: relief in Haiti.

  • Brethren,

This is the agency by which we provide Masonic Disaster Relief throughout North America. As in the past, I expect your Grand Lodge will be contributing via this media.

Cheques should be made payable to: 'MSA Disaster Relief (Haiti)' and sent directly to,

    The Masonic Service Association,
    8120 Fenton Street, Suite 203,
    Silver Spring,
    MD 209 10-4785.

Alternatively, payable to 'MSA Disaster Relief (Haiti)' and send to the Grand Lodge office, we will forward same.

MSA quote: 'Our Brothers in the Grand Orient D'Haiti desperately need assistance as they work with their communities in trying to rebuild their shattered lives'.

Donations made to 'MSA Disaster Relief Fund (Haiti)' are not able to generate a tax receipt. The same applies to the Masonic Foundation of Ontario, due to Revenue Canada regulations. I am advised they also do not qualify for a matching of funds by the Federal Government.

Please apprise the brethren of your lodges within the district.

    Fraternally,
    M.W. Bro. Terence Shand,
    Grand Secretary
